1. Device Power Issues

Device does not turn ON

✅ Check if the battery is charged (connect to charger).

✅ Solution: The device auto-powers ON when charging. If not, press Green + Intercom button together.

✅ Tip: Use only the recommended charger and cable.

Device keeps turning OFF unexpectedly

✅ Check if Auto Sleep Period is enabled.

✅ Solution: Disable or adjust the Auto Sleep Period via SMS command.

✅ Tip: A low battery may also trigger shutdown – recharge fully.

2. GPS & Location Issues

GPS location not updating

✅ Check if the device is outdoors with a clear sky view.

✅ Solution: Switch to Real-time Mode (Mode 2) using SMS: md123456 2 60S.

✅ Tip: In Power-Saving Mode, updates are not frequent.

Location is inaccurate

✅ Check if the device is indoors or near tall buildings (GPS interference).

✅ Solution: Move device outdoors or enable AGPS via OTA if supported.

Location updates are delayed

✅ Solution: Change mode to Real-time Mode or reduce reporting interval.

✅ Tip: Default Smart Mode saves power but reports only when vibration is detected.

3. Communication Problems

Cannot make phone calls

✅ Check if the SIM card is active with voice service enabled.

✅ Solution: Re-insert SIM and retry. Confirm whitelist function is not blocking the number.

SOS button not calling

✅ Check if SOS numbers are correctly stored.

✅ Solution: Reconfigure using SMS: sos1, sos2, sos3.

Intercom (walkie-talkie) not working

✅ Check if GSM signal is available.

✅ Solution: Ensure all devices are in the same group in the Cantrack Portal.

✅ Tip: Confirm SIM supports GPRS data.

4. Battery & Charging Issues

Battery drains too fast

✅ Check if device is in Real-time Mode (consumes more power).

✅ Solution: Switch to Smart Mode (Mode 3) for longer standby.

✅ Tip: Avoid using intercom continuously, as it drains battery.

Device not charging

✅ Check charger and cable.

✅ Solution: Use original charger; try another socket.

✅ Tip: Red LED should glow while charging, Green when full.

5. SMS Command & Setup Issues

SMS commands not working

✅ Check SIM balance and SMS service.

✅ Solution: Verify command format (lowercase/uppercase sensitive).

✅ Example: Use md123456 2 60S (no extra spaces).

Whitelist not functioning

✅ Solution: Ensure numbers are saved with country code if required.

✅ Tip: Whitelist supports up to 20 numbers only.

OTA update failed

✅ Check data connection on SIM.

✅ Solution: Resend SMS command: ota123456 agps.gps2828.com 21.

6. LED Status Issues

No LED light

✅ Check if device is powered ON.

✅ Solution: Charge the device and restart.

GPS LED keeps blinking

✅ Solution: Device is searching for satellite signal. Move outdoors.

Signal LED off

✅ Solution: Check GSM network availability. Try another SIM.
